The Story

Built by One Person.
For Three Years.
For One Reason.

My name is Fares. I was 23 when I started building Dummy Mummy fresh out of school. No investors. No safety net. I funded every step — sourcing Blue Lotus directly from Egypt, finding an FDA, GMP, and ISO certified manufacturer in Hong Kong, acquiring the capital — by working as a creative director, a marketer, a fine dining server, and a performance artist. Whatever it took.

It took three years.

The inspiration was never a trend or a gap in the market. It was my grandmother. Growing up, she was the queen of products — she loved to buy things. But when it came to her skin, her advice was always the same: keep it simple. She went to local oil stores and ancient medicine shops and trusted what had worked for centuries.

She also believed the skincare industry was one of the most manipulative on earth. "They're not just selling you a product. They're convincing you that you're broken."
